Who We Are

Prologue Systems, LLC, was founded in 2013 to address the many pain points associated with design and construction industries: inaccuracy of spatial data, underutilized three-dimensional information, and inaccurate as-built drawings to name a few. With a collective vision for better building practices, Prologue has taken an integral role in the development of laser scanning and modeling practices.  The Prologue team is experienced in architecture, construction, surveying, geology, historic preservation, and development and very familiar with the practical applications of our services and our data. We’re passionate about problem solving and dedicated to ensuring our clients get the deliverable they need, in a format that is useful, at any stage of the project.

Prologue uses leading-edge tools to provide front-end accuracy, savings of both time and money, and a distinct advantage when it comes to project precision and control. Our high-precision virtual services integrate directly into a broader BIM strategy and provide a comprehensive, three-dimensional baseline for project design and documentation. Start your project with precise planning and a strong foundation; start your project with Prologue.

Leadership

Inspired by the practical applications and advances in 3D scanning technology, Prologue Systems, LLC was founded with a vision of creating a better way to document existing conditions for design professionals. With backgrounds related to construction, engineering and development, the founding partners quickly realized that the benefits of Prologue services can be applied to construction, architecture, engineering, historic preservation, and other specialty projects needs. By constantly exploring new service areas and perfecting our workflow to deliver fast, accurate and reliable documents to design teams we have exceeded our expectations for growth in our start-up period. As we move forward, we remain committed to excellence with a passion for seeking solutions and bringing a creative spark to a practical situation.

Hunter McGuire III, Founder

As one of the founders of Prologue, he embraces new technologies and is constantly seeking unique ways to meet his clients’ needs using the most modern methods. His benchmark for success is “practical perfection” — working efficiently to meet the highest standards with minimal waste and maximum value for Prologue’s clients.

Graham Lohr, Lead Modeler

Graham’s strong eye for detail and spatial orientation gives him an edge both on the field and in digital modeling. His background in architecture and curiosity about the architectural history of the structures he works with compel him to approach problems from multiple angles in order to reveal the right solution. This often means solving unique problems with unique solutions. If there’s a better way, Graham will find it.

Daniel Bagbey, Business Systems Analyst

Daniel began his career in data analysis at Clemson, where he focused intensely on both groundwater flux in small wetland environments and the effects of continental plate tectonics on the global atmosphere. It sounds complex, and it is. But for Dan, coordinated data has become a professional passion. And at Prologue, he uses the power of data analysis to find accurate, innovative solutions to make his clients’ jobs — and his own — more efficient, effective, and enjoyable.
